Man’s Right Testicle on eBay
December 19, 2008 – 10:43 amHaving been following weird eBay auctions for quite some time now, I thought that I have seen them all but weirder and weirder things continue to appear, though some are obviously against the terms of use of eBay.
Today, we have Scarlett Johansson’s snotty tissue. If you have watched The Tonight Show with Jay Leno a couple of evenings ago, where Scarlett Johansson appeared on, she was having a cold, which she said was caught from her co-star, Samuel L. Jackson.
Jay Leno passed her a piece of tissue, which she promptly blew into twice. The tissue, with her snot and lipstick stain, has been sealed in a transparent bag which she autographed, and it has been put on eBay. Funds raised will be channeled to USA HARVEST INC., a non-profit organization that supports soup kitchens throughout the United States of America.
Well, if that’s not eeky enough, an unemployed man has placed his right testicle on eBay at a starting bid of half a million dollars. Times are bad and we are all feeling it but this guy says that after losing two jobs in six months, he is selling his right testicle not only to make ends meet but to make a point.
Until this point, there is no bidder for his testicle which he says is in “good working condition” but 24-year-old Ron Reeves says he has no idea what he would do if there really is a taker. Anyway, there’s not much to worry about, I guess, since eBay would surely remove it as it is against the term of use to sell “body parts”.
