eBay Diamond Powerseller Program
January 29, 2009 – 11:44 pmA couple of days ago, while we were too busy celebrating the Lunar New Year, eBay announced their new Diamond Powerseller program.
While eBay have various Powerseller rankings as far as I could remember, this new one irked some people because eBay, which promised that eBay marketplace would be a level playing field seem to have gone back against their word.
Basically, a Diamond Powerseller is for someone who lists hundreds and thousands of items on eBay at the same time. Of course this wouldn’t be possible for individual sellers, right?
Diamond Powersellers not only get to enjoy lower listing fees across the board, they also will receive better exposure for their listings, especially in “best matched” results. And the best thing of all, get this, DSR will not be applicable to these sellers.
It certainly does not look like eBay is a level playing field, if it ever was!
