A friend was telling me that he’s losing money on FOREX because his primary currency in PayPal is USD and he receives GBP occasionally and PayPal would convert the GBP to USD automatically. He said that he would gain a little if he could withdraw GBP directly to his Public Bank Visa Electron Debit Card, which is true, of course.
So I went checking my own PayPal account and discovered that we could set different currency balances. To do so, log into PayPal, click on Profile. Under Financial Information, click on Currency Balances.
Select a new currency to add from the drop down menu and then click on ADD CURRENCY button. Voila, you will now have the option to convert to your primary currency when withdrawing, if you so wish, or withdraw directly from whatever new currency that you have added.
