Fewer Debt Defaulters Among Younger Malaysians

June 28, 2013 – 11:34 am

I was at an Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK) briefing for representatives from financial institutions a couple of weeks ago. According to the CEO, there has been a steady decline of debt defaulters from the younger generation of Malaysians.

She credit this to AKPK’s continuous efforts to educate consumers, generally, and the young in particular, on how to better manage our finances, and to spend within our means.

AKPK, partnering with Bank Negara Malaysia and the banking industry, offers this course free-of-charge, to those interested to know how to make sound financial decisions.
